aboutI am personable, self-motivated and resourceful with a strong background travelling and living in the developing world. With experience managing a remote, conservation related field station, I have extensive field based experience. As a PhD graduate, I am excellent at researching topics, communicating and am proficient at using a computer
PhotographyI have always found the natural world, in all its forms to be remarkable, and it is this that inspired me to pick up a camera. Preserving those moments into an image that can be appreciated and relived for ever. Not a cheap hobby by any means, but an incredibly rewarding one. I shoot with a Canon 450D and a small selection of lenses.

WildlifeMy current research focuses exclusively on primates, which fascinate me but my interest in the animal kingdom does not stop here. I am a keen, though not entirely committed, bird watcher who has a mild obsession with reptiles, especially snakes. This possibly stems from owning a californian kingsnake as a budding young naturalist. Since then I have been hellbent on finding and documenting all snakes in any area I happen to find myself. This hobby was particularly nurtured at the study site in the Issa valley where I documented 18 different species over the course of the year I was there.

Rock climbing
Climbing has been an essential component in the retention of my sanity since I was 19. If I'm not climbing, I'm probably thinking about climbing. I have been lucky enough to climb in Australia, Thailand, Spain and France but South West Wales will always be where I call home!
